Virtual schooling, crazy schedules and limited opportunities to recreate, have everyone craving some fun. The West Chicago Park District will be offering Days Off Club to students k-5th grade looking to break out of habit and enjoy a themed day at the ARC Center.

On September 30th, the Park District will be refinancing our 2012 and 2013 bonds,
originally issued to construct the ARC Center.
This refinancing will save our taxpayers almost $3.3 million dollars ($2.83 million present value) in interest, over the life of the bonds!

COVID-19 EFFECTS ON YOUR PARK DISTRICT
The COVID-19 pandemic has temporarily forced businesses to restructure their services, hours, and teams. Organizations across the nation have revamped operations in order to provide their services. The West Chicago Park District has been diligently working to provide programs and services to the best of its abilities, while adhering to state and local health mandates, since the beginning of the pandemic. In light of the prolonged and significant health threat, along with an increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the city; changes must be made to remain proactive, fiscally responsible, and maintain the health, safety, and well-being of our patrons, staff, and families as our priority.
Temporary modifications to Park District programs and facilities will begin on September 8, 2020, and will remain in effect until further notice.
ARC Center temporary hours of operation
Mondays - Thursdays 7:00am to 8:00pm
Fridays 7:00am - 4:30pm
Other temporary changes include
Closing of the Treehouse services and playground
Cancellation of large special events
Free Open Play at Toucan's Hideaway, Monday - Saturdays 9:00am-11:30am

TREE TOP LEARNING
Virtual Tree Top provides a way to attend our learning center right from your own home! Three days a week Miss Tori will provide lessons through Zoom that you attend live or watch again later. Tree Top Learning Center will continue its philosophy of learning through hands-on experience, exploration, and positive interactions with others through our new virtual format. There is a one time $50 registration fee for Tree Top Learning Center.

Our program strives to encourage children in K to 5th grade to laugh, make friends, and be active every day.
With busy schedules in mind, hybrid school schedules, and E-Learning options, our program offers flexible scheduling for before and after school and full-day options for E-Learning providing peace of mind for parents and experience, kids won’t forget!
