Join us at The Shell for an exciting summer afternoon of live music at Battle of the Bands! Enjoy performances from talented local bands, followed by a special headline performance by 28Days. Bring a chair or blanket, relax with friends and family, and soak in a fun afternoon of music under the summer sky.
Please note: This event was originally scheduled for August 15 and has been rescheduled to September 19.
Race Through Reed

Reed-Keppler Park | $40/Resident Team of 4
Get ready for a fast-paced adventure inspired by the Amazing Race, where teams of four will navigate through Reed-Keppler Park. Test your mental and physical limits as you work together to complete fun challenges, solve puzzles, and race to the finish line.
Puzzle Pursuit
Friday, September 18 | 6:30pm-8:30pm
ARC Center | Ages 18+
Teams of 2–4 people will race against each other in one of two puzzle competitions: Recreation teams will complete a 520-piece custom West Chicago Park District puzzle, while Competitive teams will take on a 1,014-piece challenge.
Each member of the winning team will receive a prize pack. If no team finishes within the two-hour limit, the winner will be determined by the fewest loose pieces remaining. Every team gets to keep their custom puzzle!
Boo Bash

Calling all ghosts and goblins galore... Come to the ARC Center to see what’s in store! Halloween games and lots of fun treats, this Boo Bash is sure to be neat!
Jump on your broomstick or float like a ghost to the ARC Center to enjoy a hayride, live entertainment, games, crafts, activities and more Halloween fun! All children must be registered. Adults are free and must accompany children.
Pre-registration closes October 16 at 12:00pm. Walk-up registration $15.

Dare to enter the haunted woods of Reed-Keppler Park? Venture into the darkness of Spooky Trail for a spine-chilling adventure, where you'll encounter eerie clowns, creepy crawlies and other frightful surprises along the 0.25 mile path.
Only 150 pre-sale tickets are available each night, so get yours before they sell out!
Holiday Murder Mystery Dinner

Join us for "The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year", a thrilling murder mystery dinner event where you'll solve a holiday-themed whodunit. Enjoy a buffet dinner and cash bar as you gather clues and unravel the mystery. Free childcare for ages 3-13 is available with pre-registration, including pizza and activities.
