Thor-Guard is an integrated lightning prediction and warning system. Thor-Guard uses a highly sophisticated sensor and computer to measure and analyze the electrostatic field in the atmosphere. Lightning originates within this field, thus allowing THOR GUARD to make calculations predicting its occurrence, even though there may be no visible evidence of lightning. When lightning is detected you will hear one loud warning horn at that time you should seek cover immediately. When it is clear to return to the open areas of the park and Turtle Splash Water Park, Thor-Guard will sound 3 (three) consecutive warning horns.

Perry Weather is a real-time weather monitoring and alerting system designed to enhance safety across park facilities. Utilizing advanced on-site weather stations, Perry Weather provides precise, location-specific data on conditions such as lightning, heat stress, and precipitation. When lightning is detected within a designated area, the system activates a loud warning horn accompanied by flashing strobe lights, signaling the need to seek immediate shelter. Once conditions are deemed safe, an "All Clear" signal—a series of three short horn blasts—indicates that it is safe to resume outdoor activities
