Luau

Escape the winter blues and dive into a tropical paradise right here in our own community! Join us this January for a festive luau that will transport you to sunny shores and warm breezes. Don your grass skirt, bring your vacation spirit, and hula your way to an afternoon filled with island-inspired fun, music, and activities.
Valentine Loteria and Pizza

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a fun-filled afternoon of pizza, salad, and Valentine Loteria! It’s a perfect way to spread love, enjoy great food, and win some exciting prizes. Don’t miss out on this festive and delicious community event!

Discover a world of adult recreation at the West Chicago Park District. Engage in art workshops, board game play, social gatherings, trips and more. Our adult programs encourage social connections, offering opportunities to make friends and build a sense of community.

Adult Cookie Decorating
Program Code: 316030
Join us for a fun, relaxing session and dive into a wave of creativity! Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned baker, this hands-on workshop will teach you how to decorate six stunning theme-inspired cookies. You’ll learn expert techniques using royal icing, piping, and layering. All supplies are provided, but participants should bring their own container to take cookies home.
Social Gatherings
Each month we gather at the ARC Center to chat with our friends, enjoy entertainment and, of course, eat.
Pre-registration is required for all social gatherings so we can be sure to have enough food for everyone!
There is a registration deadline and space is limited. Note: Please do not bring a dish to pass; all gatherings will be catered.
Adult Social Gatherings
Trips
Come join us as we travel to places nearby. Whether its seeing new sights, hearing new music or trying new food, there is something for everybody! All day trips are in cooperation with the Warrenville and Winfield Park Districts and may depart from Warrenville, West Chicago or Winfield Park Districts. Departure locations will be emailed 1-week prior to trip date. After the registration deadline, trip registrations can be refunded only if a spot can be filled by a participant on the waitlist.
Youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
White Christmas

Celebrate the season with White Christmas, a holiday classic filled with song, dance, and festive cheer. Follow two WWII veterans-turned-performers as they team up with a sister act to save their former General’s struggling Vermont inn—culminating in a dazzling finale of “White Christmas.”
Sweet Reminders Christmas

Celebrate the sounds of the season as only Sweet Reminder can! So many memorable holiday classics delivered in Sweet
Reminder’s playful signature! From the silly to the touching, joyful memories of simpler times abound! The trip includes lunch at Chandler’s Steak House and musical entertainment by Sweet Reminders in Schaumburg, IL.
