Line Dance

Would you like to dance, but don't have a partner?  No problem!  Line Dancing is a pattern of steps done over and over again throughout the course of a song which individuals can do WITHOUT a partner.  We'll dance to country music PLUS other types.  All the steps will be thoroughly explained.  You'll develop your inner dancer, gain confidence, & make lifelong friendships in a safe & personal environment.  Wear smooth-soled shoes; no experience necessary. Supplemental online instruction available; taught by DANCE WITH JANET. (ML)

Healthy Heart Grocery Store Tour

Healthy West Chicago Grocery Store Tours are led by Registered Nutritionist. Participants will learn how to find healthier options, compare unit prices to find bargains, read the food label, how to identify whole grains and how to stick to your budget. Guests will receive a $10 produce gift card, reusable grocery bag, and healthy recipe ideas. Class will meet and be held at the Jewel-Osco on Route 38 in West Chicago. Pre-registration required. Hand Pottery Building

Hand Pottery Building in our hand-building ceramics class, you will learn a variety of techniques of coil and slab building through these 4 sessions. Each week the instructor will provide special details on how to build and use tools correctly while participants create a variety of items. Class 1 & 2 follows learn different skills and building methods. Class 3 you will use the skills you learned and create something of your choice. Class 4 you will glaze all the pieces you created.
