ADULT PROGRAMS
Discover a world of adult recreation at the West Chicago Park District. Engage in art workshops, board game play, social gatherings, trips and more. Our adult programs encourage social connections, offering opportunities to make friends and build a sense of community.

Social Gatherings
Each month we gather at the ARC Center to chat with our friends, enjoy entertainment and, of course, eat.
Pre-registration is required for all social gatherings so we can be sure to have enough food for everyone!
There is a registration deadline and space is limited. Note: Please do not bring a dish to pass; all gatherings will be catered.
Adult Social Gatherings
Trips
Come join us as we travel to places nearby. Whether its seeing new sights, hearing new music or trying new food, there is something for everybody! All day trips are in cooperation with the Warrenville and Winfield Park Districts and may depart from Warrenville, West Chicago or Winfield Park Districts. Departure locations will be emailed 1-week prior to trip date. After the registration deadline, trip registrations can be refunded only if a spot can be filled by a participant on the waitlist.
Youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

“Dear Evan Hansen: Today is going to be a good day and here’s why…” That’s how Evan starts every day, writing himself a letter about why it’s going to be a good day. A coping mechanism for this lonely, anxious high schooler looking to fit in. It’s because of these letters that Evan finds himself telling a well-meaning, little white lie that snowballs into a blizzard of untruths. In the end, his unforgettable journey demonstrates there is a place for everyone to feel love, acceptance and to be seen—even when you make mistakes.
