Discover a world of adult recreation at the West Chicago Park District. Engage in art workshops, board game play, social gatherings, trips and more. Our adult programs encourage social connections, offering opportunities to make friends and build a sense of community.

Social Gatherings
Each month we gather at the ARC Center to chat with our friends, enjoy entertainment and, of course, eat.
Pre-registration is required for all social gatherings so we can be sure to have enough food for everyone!
There is a registration deadline and space is limited. Note: Please do not bring a dish to pass; all gatherings will be catered.
Fireman Fish Fry

Members of IAFF Local 3970 will be frying up the fish once again! Please join us at the ARC Center for our annual fish fry. This event is sponsored by the West Chicago Professional Fire Fighters Association - IAFF Local 3970.
Adult Social Gatherings
Trips
Come join us as we travel to places nearby. Whether its seeing new sights, hearing new music or trying new food, there is something for everybody! All day trips are in cooperation with the Warrenville and Winfield Park Districts and may depart from Warrenville, West Chicago or Winfield Park Districts. Departure locations will be emailed 1-week prior to trip date. After the registration deadline, trip registrations can be refunded only if a spot can be filled by a participant on the waitlist.
Youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Olivia Newton-John Tribute Show & Luncheon

Celebrate the hits of Australia’s Sweetheart, Olivia Newton- John! This entertaining tribute showcases Olivia’s most-loved signature songs with spot-on “Olivia-sounding” vocals. With costume changes, lots of interesting Olivia trivia, and even a live guitar accompanist, you’re sure to recall why we all remain so Hopelessly Devoted to Olivia! Lunch is served at 11:30am; show to follow.
The Fully Monty

As a 10-time Tony Award nominee, The Full Monty is an overpowering tale that follows steelworkers facing layoffs in their hometown of Buffalo, NY. Together they create a male strip show to help pay their mortgages and provide for their families. Trip includes transportation and theater ticket. Lunch is on your own at a local restaurant.
3 Tenors

The Tenors 3, established in 2006, are Richard Gersten, Oscar Mineyo, and Luis Galvez. They are a professional trio of classically trained tenor vocalists presenting a diverse musical landscape encompassing Opera, Broadway, Operetta, Standards, Ethnic Favorites, Holiday Melodies, and much more. The lunch entree is chicken Parmesan served with Italian green beans and garlic bread. The trip includes transportation, lunch, and theater ticket.
Frozen

Regional Premiere! Royal sisters Elsa and Anna navigate love, loyalty, and Elsa’s uncontrollable powers. Paramount Theater’s lobby will be decked out for the season with a giant Christmas tree and all the trimmings. The trip includes transportation and theater ticket. Lunch is on your own at a nearby restaurant. Ages 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
The Four C Notes Holiday Special

Ring in the holidays with The Four C Notes and their rockin’ holiday show! This show features the biggest hits from the iconic “boys from Jersey,” plus your favorite holiday chart toppers by artists such as Dion and the Belmont’s, The Drifters, The Beach Boys, and many more! Trip includes transportation, lunch, and theater ticket.
