KWASMAN MEMORIAL PARK

This neighborhood park is located within the Forest Trails subdivision and has been renamed in honor of former Mayor Mike Kwasman. The park contains a playground and is adjacent to the Illinois Prairie Path and Great Western Trail intersects for easy access.

HISTORY & WILDLIFE

 

Kwasman Memorial Park was acquired in 1991. Formerly named Forest Trails Park, this park was renamed in October of 2007 for the former Mayor, Michel Kwasman who resided in the Forest Trails subdivision. The

4.5-acre park features an open play area, a playground, and a connector trail to the Great Western and Illinois Prairie Path.
