PAVILION RENTALS

The West Chicago Park District has several Picnic Pavilions available for rent May 1 through August 31 (reservations can be made starting January 1).

RATES $60R/$72NR (9:00am to Dusk)

Rental rates are per day, per pavilion, and are non-refundable/non-transferable.

BOOKING INFORMATION

Reservations can be made online or through our office at 201 W National Street in West Chicago, IL. We do not reserve without payment.

  2. Select the date you are looking to book, then click search.

  3. Click on the pavilion you would like to book.

  4. If available, you can select "Book Now."

  5. Add the rental to your cart.

CENTRAL PAVILION

Address: 832 Arbor Avenue, West Chicago

Capacity: 30 People

The Central Pavilion features a covered pavilion and five picnic tables in the heart of Reed-Keppler Park. Located near three playgrounds, baseball/softball fields, skate park, and Turtle Splash Water Park.

CORNERSTONE PAVILION

Address: 2199 Smith Road, West Chicago

Capacity: 40 People

The Cornerstone Pavilion features a covered pavilion and four picnic tables. Located near a playground, sand volleyball court, baseball/softball field, soccer fields, and a catch-and-realease pond.

DON EARLEY PAVILION

Address: 840 E. Washington Street, West Chicago

Capacity: 40 People

The Don Earley Pavilion features a covered pavilion and four picnic tables. Located near a playground, walking trail, and a catch-and-release pond.

The Kress Creek Pavilion features a covered pavilion and four picnic tables. Located near a playground, disc golf course, and trail system.

The Meadow Pavilion features a covered pavilion and three picnic tables. Located near a playground and walking path connecting the park to Meadowlark Drive.

NORTH PAVILION

Capacity: 30 People

The North Pavilion features a covered pavilion and three picnic tables in the heart of Reed-Keppler Park. Located near three playgrounds, baseball/softball fields, skate park, and Turtle Splash Water Park. The North Pavilion is located on the North side of Reed-Keppler Park by Field 6. The North Pavilion is accesssible from the North entrance on Arbor Avenue.

PIONEER PAVILION

Address: 479 W. Forest Ave, West Chicago

Capacity: 50 People

The Pioneer Pavilion features a covered pavilion and four picnic tables. Located near a playground, splash pad, baseball/softball fields, and a catch-and-release pond. The Pioneer Pavilion is located in the middle of Pioneer Park near the Splash Pad and is accessible from West Forest Avenue and Pearl Road.

PRAIRIE PAVILION

Address: 250 W. National St., West Chicago

Capacity: 80 People

The Prairie Pavilion features a covered pavilion and eight picnic tables. Located near three playgrounds, baseball/softball fields, skate park, and Turtle Splash Water Park. The Prairie Pavilion is located on the West side of Reed-Keppler Park between the ARC Center and Turtle Splash Water Park. The Praire Pavilion is accessible from National Street. Parking is available in the ARC Center or Turtle Splash parking lots.

PRESTONFIELD PAVILION

Address: 399 Hemlock Lane, West Chicago

Capacity: 30 People

The Prestonfield Pavilion features a covered pavilion and three picnic tables and a playground. The Prestonfield Pavilion is located in Prestonfield Park and is accessible from Hemlock Lane.

TURTLE PAVILION

Address: 129 W. National Street, West Chicago

Capacity: 40 People

The Turtle Pavilion features a covered pavilion and four picnic tables in the heart of Reed-Keppler Park. Located near three playgrounds, baseball/softball fields, a skate park, and Turtle Splash Water Park. The Turtle Pavilion is located on the East side of Turtle Splash Water Park.  Parking is available in the Turtle Splash parking lot.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
  • Will you be offering Splash Passes this year?
    We will begin selling season Splash Passes beginning Wednesday, June 9th. Due to imposed capacity limits, Splash Passes will only be valid once the state moves into phase 5. Splash Pass dates will be determined based on the date the state moves into phase 5.
  • How can I purchase a 2021 Splash Pass?

  • Will there be timeslots this summer? Or can I swim the whole day?
    Admission is granted for the entire length of our operations hours. Upon leaving you may get a stamp on your hand if you plan to return later in the day, however we cannot guarantee re-entry in the event the park has reached max capacity.
  • I have a season pass from 2020, which is now rolled over to 2021. Can I register in advance?"
    Yes. Passholders can register in advance and the daily fee will be waived. Passholders are expected to attend all reservations or call to cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Excessive no-shows and cancellations may result in forfeiture of the passholder’s ability to reserve admission in advance.
  • Will there be lounge chairs available?
    We plan to have lounge chairs available for use. Chairs are not reserved and are first come/first serve. Guests may also choose to sit in the grassy hill area.
  • What does limited features mean?
    Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, some features at Turtle Splash Water Park may be unavailable at times. Throughout the day, certain areas and attractions may be closed for cleaning, to reduce crowding, or due to limited staffing. We will make our best effort to keep attractions open when possible.
  • How will I know when certain features and attractions are closed?
    We encourage you to check our rainoutline before your visit. We will update the rainoutline throughout the day to reflect any attractions that are temporarily closed or closed for the day. While we try to keep our rainout line as accurate as possible and updates posted in a timely manner, we appreciate your patience in understanding that updates may be made throughout the day and encourage you to check back frequently.
  • Will the concession stand be open this summer?
    Rocco Vinos will be serving select menu items at Turtle Splash this summer. Per our policy, outside food is not allowed to be brought into the park. We recommend eating before you enter the park if you do not plan to order from the concession stand. Visitors will be expected to wear a face covering over their mouth and nose while ordering and while not seated at one of the tables in the concession area. As always, food must be kept inside the concessions area and cannot be brought past the gates onto the pool deck.
  • Can I bring my own lunch to eat?
    Per our policy, outside food is not allowed in the park. We encourage guests to eat outside food before entering the park or visit our concession stand within the facility. We will have a limited number of “Lunch” passes available for guests. “Lunch” passes are valid for 20 minutes and will give guests the option to exit the facility in order to eat food brought from home, then reenter the facility without having to pay the daily admission fee again. We have several picnic tables available outside the park that guests can use to eat lunch.
  • Will the locker rooms be available for use?
    The locker rooms will be open for use. We recommend wearing your swimwear to the park and waiting to shower at home when possible, in order to reduce crowding in the locker room areas. Please note that the locker rooms may be closed for short periods of time throughout the day for cleaning.
  • Will you be offering swim lessons this summer at Turtle Splash Water Park?
    We are offering group, semi private, and private swim lessons this summer. Please see our swim lessons page for more information.
  • Can I book a birthday party or rental at Turtle Splash this year?
    We are offering group rental space during operating hours and private rentals after operating hours. We will not have birthday party packages available this year however you may rent the canopy party area, the splash pad, or Toucan’s Hideaway in addition to group admission to Turtle Splash. You may order food in advance through Rocco Vinos for your group or party.
