Explore the joy of movement with your child and discover the many benefits of early childhood dance classes. We will dance, sing, and play in both one-on-one activities and group activities. Through circle activities, open exploration, and gross motor development exercises, children will blossom with class as they grow with their caregiver during this precious time together. Every session will include a live read story. Please wear comfortable, form-fitted clothing and bare feet.  Guardian participation required! Fun for the whole family!

Watch your child’s independence and confidence soar, as our dancers explore and discover the benefits of a more structured dance class and attend class independently. Following directions, waiting for our turn, and collectively problem-solving will encourage emotional and social development. Live singing, musical play, and sensory props will have these little ones moving and grooving with their friends and eager to return to class each week! Please wear comfortable, form-fitted clothing and bare feet. Dancers attend class independently, without caregiver participation.

This class is designed for beginner ballerinas. Classes include stretches, center work, class etiquette, basic technique, games and learning choreography. Every class also includes a live read story to promote literacy and deeper connections with our class concepts and themes. Please wear leotard, tights, or comfortable form fitted clothing, ballet shoes.

This adorable opportunity will give budding ballerinas their time to shine.  The Pixies will learn a Princess Belle l routine and show off their magical moves on stage at the Annual Dance Recital on TBA at Lake Park High School.  The Pixies will learn 1 routine and will receive one costume (included in tuition). Wear comfortable form-fitted clothing, ballet shoes.  All rehearsals are held at Winfield Park District’s Recreation Center. Fee includes costume. Dance recital mid-June. Payment plan available; three(3) equal monthly automatic EFT payments 4/1, 5/1, 6/1. 

Dance Parties are a condensed 1 day session of dance technique, movement games, crafts, a mini-performance and much more! Participants of all levels are encouraged to get involved through these camp-style classes that are designed to help participants fill their evening with fun, educational, and movement oriented programming.  Wear comfortable form-fitted clothing, dance shoes or bare feet.  Feel free to dress to match the theme too! Please bring a water bottle. All Dance Party classes are held at Winfield Park District’s Recreation Center.

Classes include stretches, class etiquette, basic technique, dance concept exploration, movement games and learning choreography. Please wear leotard, tights, or comfortable form fitted clothing, with the appropriate shoes for each level (ballet, tap, or jazz). All classes are held at the ARC Center. 

This group of dancers will learn musical theatre dance basics while prepping & performing a script and dance routine for the annual dance recital on TBA  at Lake Park High School.  They will experience auditioning, organizing costumes, building props and working as a team to put on a show.  This is a great challenge for dedicated dancers or new to dance performers. The crew will meet weekly for 8 weeks, 3  in class dress rehearsals held at Medinah Park District  on Friday May 21, 28 and June 4 and  1 on stage dress rehearsal date TBA in addition to the Dance Recital. Wear comfortable form-fitted clothing, ballet/tap/jazz shoes.  All regular rehearsals are held at Winfield Park District’s Recreation Center.
