Looking for a place to send your children on day's off school? Look no further! The West Chicago Park District has a fun filled day planned for your K - 6th grader! Exciting trips that include transportation and admission, supervised activities and snacks (morning and afternoon) are included in our fun filled Day's off school program!

Drop-off and Pick-up Location:

Easton Park Cabin (840 E Washington St.)

Drop-off and Pick-up Time:

As early as 7:30am to as late as 5:30pm (please note in the descriptions below certain trips require participants to arrive by a certain time)

Additional Important Information:

• All children must have sneakers and socks for all day off school trips and should be dressed appropriately for the weather as outside activities are often incorporated.

• Please read the descriptions carefully in regards to lunch. A completely disposable sack lunch means that everything including the container the lunch is in can/will be thrown away.

• Please note "drop off your child times". Your child must arrive by the time listed to participate in the trip.

• Please let us know if your child has any allergies.

DEADLINES WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED FOR DAY OFF SCHOOL TRIPS - Most of our trips require us to call ahead for ticketing and group reservations.

Monday, November 21, 2011: Jump Zone

Join us as we travel to St. Charles where your child will have a blast playing at Jump!Zone which features massive, themed inflatable slides, obstacle courses and bounce houses kids love, interactive games and more. Please drop your child off by 10am with a completely disposable sack lunch.

Tuesdaay, November 22, 2011: LegoLand

Join us as we travel to Schaumburg's Street's of Woodfield for LegoLand Discovery Center. Learn how Lego's are made, create a Lego car, ride a lego ride and many more activities. Please drop your child off by 9am with a completely disposable sack lunch.

Wednesday, November 23, 2011: Safari Land

Join us on our District 33 and 303 day off school trip to Safari Land in Villa Park!!! We will spend the afternoon bowling, riding a roller coaster, riding the tilt-a-whirl and playing video games. We will have pizza and pop for lunch. Please drop your child off by 9:30am.

Monday, December 19, 2011: Putting Edge

Join us as we travel to Hoffmann Estates for Mini Golf and Pizza at Putting Edge! We will play 18 holes of mini golf and enjoy a lunch of pizza and pop. Please drop your child off by 10:00am.

Tuesday, December 20, 2011: Lunch and a Movie

Join us for lunch and a movie on your day off school! We will enjoy lunch out at a restaurant of this kid's choosing followed by a rated G or PG movie at Charlestowne Mall's Classic Cinemas located in St. Charles. Please drop your child off by 10:00am.

Monday, January 2nd, 2012: Serpent Safari
Join us as we travel Gurnee, IL for a reptile adventure! We will tour through a reptile zoo and experience hands on reptile adventures while we are there. Please drop your child off by 9am with a completely disposable sack lunch.

Splash, swim, slide! We are heading to Key Lime Cove in Gurnee, IL for a tropical experience in the middle of winter! Please drop your child off by 9am with a completely disposable sack lunch and a swim suit and towel in a waterproof bag.

Friday, January 20th, 2012: Cyberspace
Take and Out of This World day off school trip with us to Cyberspace in Naperville, IL. Discover an interactive space-themed lazer tag adventure unlike anything you have ever seen! Step into an intergalactic experience with incredible sights and sounds. Cyberspace is lazer tag at its best. Please drop your child off by 9am, lunch will be provided.

Friday, March 2, 2012: Rink Side Sports
Come and play with us on you day off school! We are traveling to Gurnee, IL for laser tag, video games, ice skating and lunch at Rink Side Sports. Children must have socks and may bring money for extra tokens. Please drop your child off by 9am, lunch will be provided.
