Pioneer Park

Pioneer Park is Located on 30 acres featuring soccer fields, baseball/softball fields, sand volleyball, 3 on 3 soccer, playground, splash pad, basketball courts, and a catch and release pond. Pioneer Park has two Pavilions for rent. The pavilions have a maximum capacity of 50 people each. Thor-Guard is an integrated lightning prediction and warning system. Thor-Guard uses a highly sophisticated sensor and computer to measure and analyze the electrostatic field in the atmosphere. Lightning originates within this field, thus allowing THOR GUARD to make calculations predicting its occurrence, even though there may be no visible evidence of lightning. When lightning is detected you will hear one loud warning horn at that time you should seek cover immediately. When it is clear to return to the open areas of the park Thor-Guard will sound 3 (three) consecutive warning horns.
