All of our Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Football and Cheerleading programs are run solely by volunteer coaches. We are always looking for qualified coaches who love teaching sports to West Chicago's children. If you are interested in coaching please contact Joe Urban, Athletic Supervisor at 630.231.9474. Please print and completely fill out the application below. Applications can be submitted at the Administration Office.

IMPORTANT FIELD INFORMATION

Field information will be updated Monday through Friday on our website and the hotline (630-293-6325) by 3pm. We will not give field information prior to 3pm. Please refrain from calling our office at 10am to find out if fields are open or closed. Often, a thunderstorm at 11am does NOT result in a field closure. The Superintendent of Parks along with the Athletic Supervisor check fields daily and report conditions to our office by 3pm. Additionally, an open field at 3pm can become a closed field at 5pm due to severe weather. If at anytime during the course of a game severe weather occurs the Umpire and Park District Staff located at the fields have the final say on field closures.

Monthly Athletic Program Board Meetings

Youth Football Board

The West Chicago Park District Wildcat Youth Football Board  hold their regular monthly meeting every third Tuesday of the month at the Park District Administration Building, 157 W. Washington Street beginning at 7:00 p.m. November through July and at 8p.m. August through October.

Youth Cheerleading Board

The West Chicago Park District Wildcat Youth Cheerleading Board hold their regular monthly meeting every 2nd Wednesday of the month at the Park District Administration Building, 157 W. Washington Street beginning at 7:00p.m.

Youth Baseball/Softball Board

The West Chicago Park District Youth Baseball/Softball Board  hold their regular monthly meeting every third Wednesday of the month at the Park District Administration Building, 157 W. Washington Street beginning at 7:00 p.m. July through March and at 8pm April through June. There are no meetings in the months of September and October.
