Early Bird Registration Deadline for the 2012 season is April 2, 2012!
Wildcat Youth Tackle Football
Register now for the 2012 season of Wildcat Football!! Teams are divided by weight and age and compete in the Bill George Youth Football League (BGYFL). This league is divided into “Gold” and “Silver” divisions. Players are divided based on playing ability and experience. We strongly recommend players be registered as early as possible. Season runs late July through Mid-November with home and away games being played on Saturday and/or Sunday (for a list of towns that this league travels to please visit www.bgyfl.org). Practices will be held week nights at Reed Keppler Park. If you would like more information please visit the Wildcat Youth Football web site at www.wegoyouthfootball.com. A copy of your child’s birth certificate is required at the time of registration. Registration for the 2012 Season will begin December 5, 2011. Early Bird Registration Deadline is April 2, 2012. Late Registration Deadline is June 15, 2012 – No Registrations will be taken after this date.
Early Bird:
$250 (12/05/11 through 4/2/12) Register early and save!
This fee includes Registration ($125) and Fundraising ($125 in the form of raffle tickets which can be sold any time prior to the drawing or used by the registered player’s parents, legal guardian, or designee).
Late Registration:
$350 on or after April 3, 2012 through June 15, 2012 (if spots are available)
This fee includes Registration ($225) and Fundraising ($125 in the form of raffle tickets which can be sold any time prior to the drawing or used by the registered player’s parents, legal guardian, or designee).
All Football and Cheerleading Registration Fees include $125 in the form of raffle tickets which are non-refundable, non-transferrable and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. If there are multiple children in football or cheerleading from the same family a discount in raffle tickets will be issued (1st child $125, 2nd child sells $100, additional child(ren) sell $75 each). Please Note…This discount does not apply to individuals who receive a scholarship for their registration fee.
Equipment:
Equipment not returned, or returned in a non maintained condition is subject to a replacement assessment that must be paid prior to participation in any other West Chicago Park Distirct activity.

• All tackle players MUST be 6 years old by 09/01/2012
• Players cannot be high school students
• Players who turn 15 between 09/01/2012 and the day after championship day can only play at the Varsity level
• We do not encourage weight loss in order to be on a certain team.
• Stripers can only play Tackle, Guard or Center on the offense and defense lines. Stripers cannot play special teams.
• Safety is of the upmost importance. We reserve the right to turn away players due to safety risks.

This Program is designed for the younger kids who are new to football and would like to learn the basics before joining the Wildcat Youth Tackle Football Program.
