West Chicago Park District offers a wide range of Adult Programs. Join us for Lunch & a Movie, Day trips, Mall trips, Bingo, Fitness classes or a couple of hours of Bowling. Download the Park District Brochure to find a program that is right for you!
VIP (adults 55 and over)
Many of our adult programs/community trips have a special VIP price. This price is for any adult, resident or non-resident who is over the age of 55. In addition to special pricing we also many other services to our VIP adults.
Winfield Township/West Chicago Park District Senior Transportation Service
A bus service for those age 55 and over who reside within Winfield Township Boundaries. This service is funded in part by Winfield Township and administered by The West Chicago Park District. Proof of age and Winfield Township Residency are required. The bus service is available Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 1:00pm and 2:00pm to 4:30pm. The bus travels within Winfield Township Boundaries and is equipped with a wheelchair lift. The fee is $2.00 per round trip/per rider. RTA Reduced Fare Permit for Seniors
The West Chicago Park District is a Registration Site for the RTA's Senior Circuit Ride Free Permit/Reduced Fare Permit. Please stop by our office to fill out an application. We will need to copy your Valid State Issued ID/DL and you will need to bring a color photo with you that is 1 1/2" x 1 1/2". We mail out your application and you will receive your card at your home address in 3 to 4 weeks. DuPage Boomers
Are you a Baby Boomer? Are you one of the over 77 million Americans born between the years of 1946-1964? Are you one of the 12,000 people turning 50 every day? If yes, the DuPage Boomer's invites you to get involved.
DuPage boomers is sponsored by the Bloomingdale, Carol Stream, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Roselle, Warrenville, West Chicago, Wheaton, and Winfield Park Districts. DuPage Boomers is designed to promote healthy lifestyles and is open to adults 50 and older.
Throughout the year, DuPage Boomers will be offering events, trips, educational series and educational programs designed for the active adult (50+). Programs may include softball, volleyball, soccer and pickleball leagues along with one time clinics in platform tennis, bocce, disc golf and cricket. In addition other offerings may include educational programs, extended vacation trips and community wide events such as Senior Olympics.

80 & Over Celebration
Annual 80 and over open house honoring the senior citizens of West Chicago and vicinity. Registration is required for those 80 and over. You can register by calling the West Chicago Park District office. Please note that this is an open house for all ages of the community to help us honor those who are 80 and over. Refreshments and light snacks will be served.
